Service and contact

Use the app and website in accordance with these terms and applicable law. If you need permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter a contract, use the service with that permission.

Game and account

This is a word game based on definitions. Revealing letters reduces the available score. Daily challenges, practice, the archive and untimed Crossings have their own rules; daily attempts are limited for each game world. Online leaderboards and progress sync require an account and internet access.

Keep your credentials secure and take responsibility for activity on your account. Do not impersonate others or use a username containing private, abusive or unlawful material. To report a problem, send the username and a description to our support address.

Fair play

Score tampering, cheating, automation, bypassing access limits, unauthorized account access and harming the service are prohibited. Invalid scores may be excluded from leaderboards. Abusive content, scores or account access may be restricted. Contact support if you believe an action was taken in error.

ZC and cosmetics

ZC is a virtual unit earned through play or purchased in packs through the App Store. It is used only for cosmetics and cannot be cashed out or transferred outside the game. Letters, time, points and hints are not sold. The App Store shows the price before purchase; ZC is delivered after server verification.

ZC packs are consumable purchases; restoring the same transaction does not grant ZC again. Request refunds through Apple. A verified refund may reverse the related ZC source and cosmetics obtained with it. Deleting an account does not cancel a purchase or automatically initiate a refund. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

There are no subscriptions. Apple processes payments; we do not receive your card number. The first App Store release is ad-free; rewarded ads and ad-removal purchases are not offered in this release.

Content and licence

Rights in our software and original content are reserved. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence for personal use. Except where law permits, you may not copy or redistribute content packs or use them in another service. You may share your results using the app’s sharing feature.

Apps obtained through the App Store are also covered by Apple’s standard end user licence agreement. This page does not replace Apple’s licence terms.

Privacy and deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains personal data processing. Accepting these terms does not consent to optional analytics or crash reporting. Delete your account inside the app or submit an account deletion request.

Service changes

We may update features and content to fix problems, improve the game or protect security. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

The current terms are published here. Material changes receive appropriate notice. Mandatory local consumer protections and your rights to competent courts or complaint procedures remain applicable.
